Villella Farming

Rocky Creek in the Atherton Tablelands is the home to Villella Farming. Frank and John Villella are second and third generation farmers growing avocados, potatoes, sugar cane, grass seeds and hay. On top of this, they also have a state of the art chicken meat facility.

John and Frank acquired a Manitou MT-932 some years ago when purchasing their chicken farm. The 2002 built machine has since done close to 9000 hours and in need of an upgrade. John and Frank enjoy the reliability, endurance and performance of the Manitou machines and knew the MLT-X 732-95 would be the perfect option.

The MLT-X 732 has a lift height of 6.9m and a maximum capacity of 3.2 tonne. The 95 hp engine is more than enough power to handle various tasks around the Villella Farm.

The machine required a low overhaul height to allow maximum access to the chicken shed’s low roof. It was also fitted with 20 inch wheels to allow access for cleaning the sheds.

Overall John and Frank both enjoy the features of their new Manitou MLT-X 732. In particularly the pneumatic seat for optimum comfort and reversible fan to clean the radiator.
