Manitou Telehandlers - a growing success

Tim Semmler is one of the 750 grape growing families in the Barossa region supplying quality grapes to a variety of wine makers. During the Barossa vintage season, Tim Semmler and his family work day and night on his Lyndoch property to get the labour intensive job done.

To increase his efficiency and productivity, Tim purchased a Manitou MLT-X 845 to replace his old Hyster forklift. The MLT-X 845 is a high capacity 4.5 tonne telehandler designed for large scale farms and heavy-duty environments. With a 7.55m lifting capacity, it is the perfect machine for loading grape bins as well as general vineyard duties.

The machines flexibility and versatility will come in handy when manoeuvring throughout the vineyards robust terrain.

Tim and his family could not be happier with the purchase. Tim’s three young boys were also wrapped with their (model) forklifts Jason Pearson delivered. With their sights set on owning their own vineyard someday, we might have some more Manitou orders down the track!!
